The 1st Korea-Japan Normalization 60th Anniversary Male Vocalist Audition "King of Singers JAPAN" has confirmed its broadcast arrangement with the major Japanese broadcaster BS Nippon Television.
The Korea-Japan Normalization 60th Anniversary Male Vocal Audition "King of Singers JAPAN" is the Japanese version of "King of Singers 2," which has undeniably displayed its overwhelming level of buzz after topping the overall ratings for all channels in the same time slot for 12 consecutive weeks.
"King of Singers JAPAN" targets 20- and 30-something Japanese men, united solely by their passion for singing, regardless of genre or experience. The winner will receive a huge prize of 10 million yen, and the seven individuals selected as the representatives of Japan will participate in a spinoff program with members from the "Korea-Japan King of Singers" and "King of Singers 2," gaining the opportunity for a simultaneous debut in both countries.
In particular, "King of Singers JAPAN," produced by CREA Studio, which has successfully released hit series such as "King of Singers," "Korea-Japan King of Singers," and "Korea-Japan Top Ten Show," has high expectations for its overall production.
Moreover, the producer in charge from BS Nippon Television noted the overwhelming directing ability of CEO Seo Hye-jin from CREA Studio as the reason for programming "King of Singers JAPAN," drawing attention. The producer said, "CEO Seo Hye-jin has not only created national stars in South Korea but also continues to produce consecutive hit shows with an overwhelming directing flair." They also shared, "I observed the recording of 'King of Singers 2,' and despite it being an audition, everything was performed live, from the dancers' choreography to costumes and stage sets, all at a concert-level production. It was astonishing due to the scale of the program, including around 80 cameras and producing new songs for the 10 runners-up, which is unimaginable in Japan."
Additionally, the producer in charge at BS Nippon Television expressed pride in collaborating with the content featuring her directing ability, saying, "I am filled with anticipation for the upcoming 'King of Singers JAPAN' program and the seven stars that will be discovered through this program." On the other hand, due to the overwhelming support for "King of Singers JAPAN," a second recruitment has begun. The application period for "King of Singers JAPAN" is until midnight on April 12, and applications can be submitted on the official website of "King of Singers JAPAN."
