Director and actor Ha Jung-woo of the movie "Lobby" underwent emergency surgery due to acute appendicitis. Therefore, he will not attend the "Lobby" press conference, news briefing, or stage greeting.

On the 25th, the production team of the movie "Lobby" announced through their official social media that "Ha Jung-woo had to undergo emergency surgery while traveling to attend his official schedule today due to suspected acute appendicitis."

They further explained, "Ha Jung-woo was willing to attend the event, but unfortunately, based on the doctor's opinion that the situation is difficult, he had to miss today's planned press conference, news briefing, stage greeting, and empathy counseling event for the movie 'Lobby.'"

The production team of "Lobby" stated, "All events will proceed as scheduled with other cast members, excluding Ha Jung-woo's absence," and added, "We kindly ask for your understanding, and the ‘Lobby’ team wishes Ha Jung-woo a speedy recovery."

"Lobby" is a story about a startup representative Chang-wook (played by Ha Jung-woo), who starts his first lobbying golf to win a national project worth 4 trillion won, and it is the third directorial work by Ha Jung-woo.

Starring Ha Jung-woo, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Dong-hwi, Park Byung-eun, Kang Mal-geum, Choi Si-won, Cha Joo-young, Park Hae-soo, and Kwak Sun-young, "Lobby" is set to be released in theaters on April 2.
