Singer Lee Seung-hwan will appear on stage at a rally calling for President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment.

On the 25th, Lee Seung-hwan posted on his social media, "I urge the Constitutional Court to deliver a swift ruling. I hope you will think rightly and act rightly, and I will sing 'Do the right thing.' See you at Anguk-dong intersection at 7 p.m. on March 27, Thursday."

Lee Seung-hwan has been a strong voice against President Yoon Suk-yeol's impeachment since the declaration of martial law he announced last December.

Lee Seung-hwan, who also participated in a protest held in front of the National Assembly after the 12.3 coup incident, saw the concert scheduled to be held in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, forcibly canceled. Following this, Lee Seung-hwan initiated a damage compensation lawsuit against the city of Gumi for about 2.5 billion won, and additionally filed a constitutional complaint with the city mayor of Gumi as the respondent.

Then this time, he became the target of far-right cyber bullies on YouTube. Some far-right YouTubers created rumors about Lee Seung-hwan being denied entry into the United States, to which Lee Seung-hwan posted a photo confirming he attended his nephew's wedding in the U.S., stating, "I came to the U.S. for my nephew's wedding. Of course, I was not denied entry by the CIA or HTML."

In response, one YouTuber launched a thumbnail video titled, "Hey Seung-hwan, do you want to make a bet with me?" asserting a bizarre logic that Lee Seung-hwan's claim of entering the U.S. was false. To this absurd suspicion, Lee Seung-hwan replied, "If my entry and exit from the U.S. is recognized, then you lose, and if it’s not recognized, then I lose. You may doubt these two documents, but if you suspect that I would fabricate these documents, you can report me for the crime of altering public documents. In such a case, I swear I will not sue you for false accusation. However, the promise must be kept. You shouldn’t run away either."

However, on the 24th, Lee Seung-hwan expressed his astonishment, stating, "I went to the 'Gangdong Police Station' because I wanted to inquire about my schedule, as I didn’t receive any contact regarding the accusation and felt eager to be investigated. It's close to my company. However, they said there are no cases reported under my name." He announced that he had filed a lawsuit against the cyber bullies spreading fake news about him.
