Yoon Park is showcasing his elite single-daddy persona and charm as a 'heart-flutterer' in the KBS2 weekend drama 'Eagle Five.'.
Yoon Park plays the role of 'Oh Beom-soo,' the fourth son of the Oh family, who is referred to as the family's hope, displaying intelligent and calm charisma. Oh Beom-soo topped the national administrative examination during his college years, earned a doctorate from Stanford, and returned as a professor at a prestigious university, making him a true elite among elites. Yoon Park completes the character with a restrained charm, possessing perfect looks and credentials, and maintains a rational and heavy presence among the five brothers, centering the drama. In particular, he plays a key role in keeping family balance, even in conflict situations, without being swayed by emotions.
On the other hand, Yoon Park also showcases a 'daughter fool' appearance in front of his daughter, adding to the depth of the character with a contrasting charm. Yoon Park harmlessly portrays moments when the logical and cold Oh Beom-soo becomes disarmed in front of his young daughter, eliciting smiles from viewers. His attitude changes quickly at Hanni's words, or he appears flustered by unexpected parenting challenges, realistically expressing the essence of a 'single daddy' and evoking empathy.
Additionally, the subtle dynamics and emotional shifts with Shin Seul-ki (played by Dokgo Se-ri) also draw attention. A dry atmosphere has started to shift towards pink between them, who are a supervising professor and a teaching assistant. Yoon Park delicately captures moments of soft eye contact with Shin Seul-ki in the library and expressions that convey misunderstanding as spouses in the hospital, significantly raising expectations for the development of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Beom-soo is experiencing confusion due to the appearance of Hanni's biological mother, Na Young-eun (played by Choi Yoon-young), while gradually narrowing the emotional distance with Se-ri, increasing expectations for the future development of their relationship.
KBS2's 'Eagle Five' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m.
