The Taiwan Seven Eleven stated, "Due to a schedule adjustment by Kim Soo-hyun, the 'Kim Soo-hyun exclusive fan meeting' that was scheduled to take place during the Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival on the 30th has been canceled. The organizers plan to refund the full price of the tickets."
However, it is expected that the Kaohsiung Cherry Blossom Festival will proceed as planned, except for Kim Soo-hyun's absence. The organizers stated that those who present their winning certificates will be able to attend the live activities and performances at the cherry blossom festival for free.
Meanwhile, the YouTube channel "Garosero Research Institute" claimed based on reports from the family of the late Kim Sae-ron that she dated Kim Soo-hyun for six years starting when she was 15. It also noted that they sent two written notices regarding the 700 million won in penalties resulting from a drunk driving accident, pressuring for payment.
In response, Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, stated that while it is true that Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun dated, they were together from the summer of 2019, when they became adults, until the autumn of 2020, and that the written notices were part of the legal process for handling penalties related to Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving incident, and there was no actual demand for payment or pressure applied.
