(Following the interview②) Actor Park Bo-gum shared his collaboration with IU.

On the 24th, an interview was held with lead actor Park Bo-gum of Netflix's 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' at the Conrad Seoul Hotel.

'When Life Gives You Tangerines' is a work that unravels the adventurous life of 'wild rebel' Ae-soon (played by IU) and 'foolish iron man' Kwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum), who were born in Jeju in the 1960s, across the four seasons. It has garnered praise for bringing together writer Lim Sang-chun, known for works such as 'When the Camellia Blooms' and 'Fight for My Way,' and director Kim Won-seok, celebrated for his delicate direction in 'My Mister,' 'Signal,' and 'Misaeng,' creating another well-made piece.

Park Bo-gum portrays the young Kwan-sik, matching the youthful Ae-soon played by IU, sharing a sweet couple dynamic and heartfelt chemistry as a married couple.

On this day, Park Bo-gum reflected on his collaboration with IU, saying, "I think IU is truly a person with great physical strength. It's like a strength of the heart. I knew that not only was she handling the character Ae-soon, but also had a demanding schedule in her role as Geum-myeong, with much to do, yet she maintained it well. She was a friend I wanted to pat on the back."

He continued, "Meeting a friend of the same age and being able to act together is, in a way, a fortunate relationship and a valuable experience," adding, "She spreads kindness to many people. Seeing that side of her made me think, ‘What a big-hearted friend,’ and I felt I should learn from her."

He also mentioned, "Whether it's acting or singing, I was inspired by an artist who balances both and provides inspiration to many. I want to say that it was enjoyable, happy, and I am grateful to have met her."
