My Kid's Private Life returned with an episode that captured both laughter and emotion and captivated viewers.

On the 23rd at 7:50 p.m., ENA's Sunday entertainment program 'My Kid's Private Life' (hereinafter referred to as 'My Life') aired its 13th episode, featuring the stories of the Dodo siblings, Yeonwoo and Hayoung, invited as instructors at a Vietnamese Korean language school, and Jia, who has grown into a promising golf player.

First, Yeonwoo and Hayoung appeared with updates on their significant growth. In particular, Hayoung's change, with her front teeth missing, caught the eye. Yeonwoo said, “After coming back from the United States, my fear of challenges has disappeared, and I gained confidence in doing things alone,” introducing the changes brought about since the last broadcast of 'My Life.' On that day, Yeonwoo, who challenged himself to take the subway with Hayoung, successfully completed the mission and even succeeded in buying necessary books at the bookstore.

After the children returned home, a talk about the updates of the Dogane family continued. Yeonwoo mentioned wanting to have a friendship trip with his older sister Sarang, referring to another challenge he wanted to undertake on 'My Life,' while Hayoung brought up a new boyfriend. In contrast, Yeonwoo stated, “I need to be a bit cautious,” revealing a serious view on dating, indicating he would consider marriage, which made the studio erupt in laughter.

The reason the children took the subway together to visit a large bookstore was to purchase Korean language textbooks. Their father, Do Gyeong-wan, was invited as a special instructor at the Vietnamese Korean language school, prompting the Dodo siblings to accompany him to teach Korean to their peers. Although the Dodo siblings had been confused at the airport during their previous trip to the United States, this time they showed a relaxed demeanor, comfortably following the advance information and even checking in their winter coats.

On the plane, Do Gyeong-wan sat in the exit row. Although the Dodo siblings had to sit apart, they welcomed the situation. They dealt with unexpected happenings with ease, ordering meals in English from the flight attendants and informing them of their father's seat for billing. Yeonwoo's sweetness in entertaining his bored younger sibling, despite being sleepy, made many shout, “One household, one Yeonwoo!”

After arriving in Vietnam, Do Gyeong-wan first went to the language school, while Yeonwoo and Hayoung decided to go to the market together. At that time, Yeonwoo compared currency exchange offices to get the best rates. Jang Yoon-jeong praised Yeonwoo for being meticulous, saying, “Dad only uses Mom's card when he goes abroad.” Afterward, the children safely boarded a bus to the market based on the information they had asked from the airport staff.

However, the boarding method for buses in Vietnam, which is completely different from their country, left the children bewildered. Yeonwoo paid money to a Vietnamese employee who was supposed to give him the ticket, but the employee refused. To make matters worse, with the language barrier, the children were left in an awkward situation, creating curiosity for the viewers as the VCR ended.

The daily life of the new protagonist, Jia, was introduced next. Jia, who was loved as a national niece after appearing on a variety show with her father during her childhood, has now grown to be a 17-year-old promising golf player. Waking up at 5:30 a.m. and planning her day by the hour, Jia's busy morning, which even included drinking milk powder to bulk up, surprised everyone.

Jia, who is in an important period preparing to transition from junior to professional, was only thinking about golf every moment. Even when her mother said she would replace her worn-out golf clubs or buy her new wireless earbuds that had been lost, Jia only talked about how “that money could be used for another round of golf.” Seeing Jia more mature than her peers, her mother, Park Yeon-su, expressed her concern, saying, “Why does she seem so mature? I wish she could laugh and chat like her peers.”

Upon arriving at the golf course, Jia received lessons via video call from Ian Tsyrik, a legend in Australian golf who has produced legendary players like Carrie Webb and Yoo So-yeon. Impressed by Jia's hard work, Coach Ian Tsyrik offered to teach her golf without charging any lesson fees. Jia's passion for recording meticulously what she learned from the coach and practicing to make it her own left viewers amazed.

During a break while having a snack after an intense workout, the appearance of a close older sister who is a professional golfer allowed Jia to candidly share her deep feelings. Jia, who refrained from having a boyfriend to focus entirely on golf, said, “They say I'm the one who pulls out the pillars of our family, so seeing that brings a heavy sense of responsibility.”

Jia also revealed, “I cried a lot after hearing that Mom canceled her health insurance due to golf training. It made me think, ‘What have I been doing without working harder until now?’” She added, “I hope Mom lives not as Jia's mom, but as Park Yeon-su,” expressing her feelings of guilt towards her mother. Park Yeon-su, who was listening in the studio, stated, “I didn't know Jia cried. I knew she was organizing the house while doing golf, but I never once thought to hesitate about doing something for the kids.”

Although Jia had dreams of being on the national team because her father was a soccer player, she had to give up on everything and focus solely on preparing to be a professional due to golf's rules, which do not allow individuals to be both a player and a national representative. Her endless efforts in fitness, Pilates, and putting practice amazed everyone. In particular, everyone was surprised by Jia's strong spirit as she achieved a score of 861, far exceeding her goal of 800 on the high-intensity exercise bike, which places her on par with professional athletes. Despite feeling unwell and vomiting, Jia completed her planned workout, prompting the MCs in the studio to reflect on themselves.

By the time it was 10 p.m. and Jia returned home, she comforted her younger brother Ji-wook, who was playing soccer, regarding her difficult day. Additionally, having diligently saved her allowance through second-hand transactions, Jia surprised her mother with a shoulder massager. Despite having had a tough day herself, Jia's thoughtful gesture towards her mother brought tears to both Park Yeon-su and Lee Hyun-yi. Then, a scene unfolded of Jia, who was on her way to training, dressing up in New York and meeting a mysterious man, sparking viewers' curiosity.

Through the return of 'My Life,' the Dodo siblings confidently took on more difficult challenges in their travels while Jia dedicated herself to her goal of becoming a golfer, delivering both laughter and emotion. The unique healing of 'My Life,' where laughter and emotion harmoniously blend, warmed viewers' Sunday night.

Meanwhile, a preview shown at the end of the broadcast captured the Dodo siblings crying after something was taken from them by a monkey in Vietnam and Jia enjoying happy times with male friends in New York, building anticipation.
