A participant who is concerned about their relationship with their children grants their appearance.
On the broadcast of KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' on the 24th, a laughter therapist who has overcome hardships and adversities appeared with concerns.
The participant said they bring laughter to others but are worried about whether they are doing well with their children, and thus sought 'Ask Anything'.
The participant revealed, “I wanted to be good at sales, so I went to learn speech and ended up dreaming about the instructor,” explaining how they became a laughter therapist. Seo Jang-hoon responded to the question of whether he usually laughs by saying, “I don't laugh much, but since we are entertainers, there are times when we have to laugh. I laugh more than average people.”
The participant started laughter therapy with Seo Jang-hoon and Lee Soo-geun. Both followed the participant's instructions and laughed hard. Seo Jang-hoon said, “Even while doing this, I feel a reality check in my heart. It doesn't feel like I'm genuinely laughing.”
The participant shared, “I got divorced 20 years ago. After living apart from my children for about a year, I returned and raised them for 20 years. My daughter got into a car accident and had surgery, and when I began studying, my daughter was diagnosed with moyamoya disease. She had brain surgery four times. It was so hard that I didn’t want to live. I have lived hard, having done everything from delivering newspapers to publishing, insurance, and running a chicken restaurant.”
The participant stated that their daughter is 37 years old and their son is 34. They added, “It’s been a year and a half since they moved out. As a mother, wouldn’t it be nice to laugh together? When I laugh, my children look at me strangely. I wish my children would laugh together like me.”
Seo Jang-hoon advised, “No matter how often you try to live life as a time of laughter, there will still be tough and exhausting times at home. From the perspective of the children, they might think, ‘Why do I have to laugh forcibly?’” He continued, “Please give a lot of laughter to people, and seriously talk about any concerns you have with your children. Take care of the shortcomings, separate from laughter.”
