The group KiiiKiii is expected to bring a fresh breeze to the music industry with their natural charm like organic girls.

KiiiKiii held their first mini-album release showcase for 'UNCUT GEM' at the Bluesquare Mastercard Hall in Yongsan, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 24th, where they discussed their debut album.

KiiiKiii is a new girl group launched by Starship Entertainment after a 4-year hiatus since IVE, pursuing beauty and fun with the theme of 'the beauty of imperfect youth'. The group consists of five members: leader Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Haum, and Kiya.

KiiiKiii released their pre-debut song 'I DO ME' last month and showcased their irreplaceable charm as well as their potential on stage.

The members expressed their excitement about debuting, saying, 'We are happy to finally debut after dreaming of it for a long time and we thank everyone who has supported and helped us. It has been a month since our debut, and time has flown by really fast. We were so nervous to perform on music broadcasts. I still remember the tension of our first broadcast. Thanks to your interest and love, we are slowly growing, and we hope to show you good appearances in the future, so please look forward to it.'

When asked about their group's pursuit of beauty, KiiiKiii replied, 'It is an unrefined charm. Rather than conforming to any standards, we want to prioritize our own natural appearance.'

KiiiKiii's debut album 'UNCUT GEM' is an album that throws down the gauntlet in the music world, showcasing the even more charming KiiiKiii who is unrefined. The six tracks on the album contain KiiiKiii's relentless questions about youth. With beautiful and diverse melodies, they ask questions to the world without forcing anything, moving forward in a cheerful direction. They expressed various music with their individual distinctive vocals.

The title track 'I DO ME' is a pop dance song that combines captivating vocal melodies with groovy rhythms, expressing the independent girl’s desire to live confidently by believing in her instincts, maximizing KiiiKiii's bold appeal. It marks the beginning of their journey with a hot cry of beautiful imperfection during the purest time they can show their raw selves.

KiiiKiii, who met fans through music broadcasts prior, expressed gratitude, saying, 'We performed on music broadcasts for the first time, and the fans cheered us on a lot, so that moment will be an unforgettable good memory.'

They added, 'It was fun being called “organic girls.” I was monitoring and at some point, the fans started calling us that. It felt so cute and fun.'

When asked which star they would like to film a challenge with, the members mentioned IVE, saying, 'We filmed a challenge with the seniors of IVE, and if given another opportunity, we would like to film with RAY. We also want to film with our senior actress Chae Soobin from our agency. I have been keeping track of Yoo Jae-suk's programs, and if given the chance, I would love to film a challenge together. I would also love to be on 'Running Man' as a good opportunity.'

When asked if they felt pressure being juniors to IVE, KiiiKiii replied, 'We feel honored to debut as juniors to such great and respected seniors. We want to show our own color by following in their footsteps.'

The members of IVE also did not spare any advice. Kiya expressed gratitude, saying, 'We delivered the KiiiKiii box and met the seniors of IVE, who encouraged us and offered advice. It was a grateful and happy time.'

Regarding KiiiKiii's unique strengths, they stated, 'Our strength is our strong teamwork and our distinct uniqueness. We want to show even more wonderful appearances in the future,' adding, 'Although each of us stands out as individuals, the fact that we shine when gathered as one team is our biggest strength. We want to be a group that brings smiles to many people.'

As they debuted simultaneously with SM Entertainment's new girl group HAATZ, the members explained, 'Rather than a sense of rivalry, it is an honor to be able to promote concurrently. I think we can actively promote while giving each other positive encouragement as good colleagues.'

Finally, KiiiKiii expressed their future goals, saying, 'We want to let many people know about us. We want to perform on many stages in many countries and showcase our music. As we debut as KiiiKiii, we want to show various aspects of ourselves and perform on global festival stages. We hope to win a rookie award since we debuted as KiiiKiii.'
