'My Precious Star' has confirmed the casting of Uhm Jung-hwa, Song Seung-heon, Lee El, and Oh Dae-hwan and has begun shooting.
Scheduled to be released in the second half of 2025, the Genie TV original drama 'My Precious Star' (directed by Choi Young-hoon, written by Park Ji-ha, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Jumbo Film) is a romantic comedy about the tears and joys of time that unfolds after the top star of South Korea becomes an ordinary middle-aged woman overnight. The story of a top star who suddenly jumps back into the spotlight after a 25-year hiatus offers relatable laughter.
Above all, there is intense anticipation for the 10-year reunion of Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon. The two previously collaborated in the 2015 film 'Miss Wife'.
The addition of trusted actors Lee El and Oh Dae-hwan further excites drama fans.
