Actor Lee Kwang-soo expressed his thoughts on playing a smart character.
On the 24th, an online production presentation for the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Divorce Insurance" (written by Lee Tae-yun, directed by Lee Won-seok and Choi Bo-kyung) was held.
"Divorce Insurance" is a pure guarantee office romantic comedy that features an insurance product designed to tackle divorce, the hottest disaster of this era, from the innovative product development team at an insurance company comprising the best brains. Director Lee Won-seok, known for films such as "Killing Romance," and writer Lee Tae-yun, known for works including "Josan and Joy," "The Sound of Your Heart," and "My Lovely Kim Sam-soon," collaborated on this project.
Lee Kwang-soo plays the safety-first character "Anjeonman," who is cautious and prudent. True to his character's emphasis on safety, Anjeonman becomes a risk surveyor who proposes accident prevention measures and efficient insurance programs while joining Noh Gi-jun's divorce insurance project, embarking on the greatest adventure of his life. Although he tries to appear cool on the outside, he turns out to be timid and struggles alongside the members of the divorce insurance development team, encountering a turning point in his life.
Lee Kwang-soo said, "In particular, it's a brain role. He is the smartest character I've played among all my roles so far. He uses complex terminology in his lines, and I am looking forward to it as he says words I have never heard before. I think it would be nice to see how this individualistic character grows within the divorce insurance team."
Moreover, Lee Kwang-soo stated, "The atmosphere on set was great, and there were many ad-libs outside of the script, which made it fun. We talked a lot before shooting on set, which helped me with the character. I had a really enjoyable time filming."
Meanwhile, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "Divorce Insurance" will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on the 31st and will be available to viewers worldwide through the global streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
