Chef Anh Sung-jae confirmed a crime impersonating the name of 'Mosu Seoul,' which he operates, and urged caution.

On the 23rd, the restaurant Mosu Seoul posted a message on its official social media saying, "We have confirmed that a crime has occurred in which a person pretended to be KT, forwarded calls to Mosu's phone number, and demanded meal expenses," and stated, "We have reported this to the police."

He noted, "Mosu Seoul only collects reservation fees through the Catch Table (a restaurant reservation app)" and emphasized, "We never request bank transfers."

He also reiterated, "If you have been asked for reservation fees in any other way, this is not related to Mosu, so we ask you to be cautious." He added, "We sincerely regret that our beloved customers are experiencing damages and truly hope there will be no further harm."

Meanwhile, Chef Anh Sung-jae appeared as a judge on last year's popular Netflix show 'Culinary Class Wars.' He gained recognition as the only Michelin 3-star owner chef in Korea while serving alongside CEO Baek Jong-won as a judge.

Afterward, Chef Anh reopened 'Mosu Seoul' on the 22nd. Mosu Seoul opened exclusively for dinner courses, with the price set at 420,000 won, which drew attention.
