Kang Hyung-wook brought attention to his recent situation following the staff abuse controversy.

On the 22nd, a video titled "Kang Hyung-wook's progress report on hair loss treatment after six months" was posted on the YouTube channel 'Kang Hyung-wook's Bodum TV.'

In the released video, Kang Hyung-wook headed to the hair loss clinic and said, "Last year, between May and July, I lost 13 kg in just two weeks. I'm not sure if it was because I was very stressed during that time, but my hair fell out seriously. It fell out so much that I had to clean my pillow with a vacuum cleaner every morning because of all the hair that was on it."

He confessed, "At first, I was really embarrassed to go to the hair loss clinic alone. I went back and forth in front of the clinic door several times. So on the third visit, I went with my wife's hand in mine. I was really embarrassed."

When Kang Hyung-wook arrived at the clinic, he said, "When I first came to the hospital, it was really serious. At that time, while doing YouTube, I was even sprinkling (hair powder), and I was really concerned when I made the dogs 'lie down.' I was worried that if I bent over, my scalp would show. Was it really that sparse?" and laughed.

After receiving treatment, Kang Hyung-wook headed to a cafe and shared behind-the-scenes stories from his book. He stated, "Unexpectedly, I had some time. I wrote most of the text in less than two weeks. The questions that had been inside me poured out, and I just wrote day and night according to where they took me."

He continued, "What I've learned over the past ten years is that a guardian has to live happily for the dog to be happy. I realized that supporting leads to a good life for both the guardian and the dog. I think I've come to realize this as I've gotten older."

He also said, "Although I am a dog trainer, I still have a lot of youthful and unwise aspects." He added, "I will strive to become a wiser trainer. If I have been a trainer who only had knowledge until now, I plan to try to become a wise trainer in the future."

Earlier, former employees from Bodum Company, where Kang Hyung-wook served as a representative, filed a lawsuit with the police in May of last year, alleging 'workplace abuse' such as unauthorized access to messenger chats concerning Kang Hyung-wook and his wife. They argued that even if it was a company messenger, unauthorized access and sharing of personal content should be considered a breach of privacy.

In response, Kang Hyung-wook said, "I want to sincerely apologize to those who may have felt disappointed due to this issue that arose because of my inadequacies as a representative, and I will do my best to clarify. However, I know there are many baseless speculations and defamation circulating. I also know that there are many falsehoods. I would like to ask those who are spreading such rumors about the place where I worked hard with wonderful employees and trainers to please stop. And if necessary, I plan to take legal action to protect them."

Ultimately, in February, the Cyber Investigation Unit 1 of the Northern Gyeonggi Provincial Police Department decided not to prosecute the allegations against Kang Hyung-wook and his wife regarding violations of the Information and Communications Network Act, thus concluding the case. The police stated that they found no evidence of wrongdoing after examining the facts, including responses from those involved and analysis of evidence, and considering that there was legitimate access by the administrators according to the terms of service.
