Actor Seo Kang-jun showcased a 'National Intelligence Service DNA' that is well-rounded in intelligence, action, and responsibility.

Seo Kang-jun played the ace agent Jeong Hae-seong in the MBC show 'Undercover High School,' which aired on the 22nd.

That day, Jeong Hae-seong faced multiple crises, including the National Intelligence Service's Domestic Team 4 being unjustly disbanded and receiving an expulsion order from the school's chairman Seo Myeong-joo (played by Kim Shin-rok).

Jeong Hae-seong soon turned the crisis into an opportunity. Under the responsibility of wanting to "correct the wrong," Jeong Hae-seong focused on the mission to recover Emperor Gojong's gold bullion. He displayed sharp brainwork utilizing detailed analysis as well as intuition.

After much effort, he found a secret space, but there was no gold bullion there. Instead, Jeong Hae-seong confronted the corpse of his father, now a skeleton. Jeong Hae-seong evoked a 'silent howl' of complex emotions like sadness and anger that moved the viewers.

"The genre can change depending on the protagonist's choices," as noted in Jeong Hae-seong's line, Seo Kang-jun provided a "Seo Kang-jun gift" by crossing various genres such as comedy, mystery, and melodrama throughout the show.

Seo Kang-jun's portrayal of Jeong Hae-seong transforming into a delivery person to infiltrate the school was depicted in a light-hearted comedy. The process of uncovering the secrets of the ghost story was presented as a gripping mystery, while his deepening relationship with Oh Soo-a (played by Jin Ki-joo) was shown as a heartwarming melodrama, once again proving his wide acting spectrum.

Meanwhile, 'Undercover High School,' featuring Seo Kang-jun, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m. on MBC.
