Comedian Han Min-kwan shared an unexpected update on his life, having transitioned from a race car driver to the head of a video production company, and now owning a hamburger shop with sales in the hundreds of millions of won.

Previously, Han Min-kwan had reported on his status as a professional race car driver. He said that he first went to watch car racing at an automotive club in 2007 and became deeply fascinated by the sport. Han Min-kwan recalled, "My heart started racing as I watched the competition," while reminiscing about the moment he was captivated by car racing. In 2011, Han Min-kwan became a paid racer and proved his skills by standing tall as the champion of the 2016 season. He said, "I felt that people saw me as just another celebrity having fun, which made me work even harder."

In addition, Han Min-kwan made an appearance in the past on TV Chosun's current affairs and entertainment program "Star Document My Way" (hereafter referred to as "My Way"), showcasing him going to work in an office rather than a broadcasting station. It turns out he became the head of a video production company.

Han Min-kwan introduced, "When requests come in, I operate a company that produces various videos such as corporate promotional videos and university lecture videos," and noted, "I started the company wanting to shoot underwater content, but due to COVID-19 blocking travel, I ended up venturing into various video production businesses." Han Min-kwan humbly added, "I'm barely able to pay the salaries of my employees."

Among them, Han Min-kwan reported his success as a well-known hamburger shop owner after about three years. On the 23rd, comedian Han Min-kwan, who successfully operates a hamburger shop in Sinchon, was visited by Park Myung-soo on KBS2’s "Boss's Ears are Donkey's Ears" (directed by Ahn Sang-eun), where Han Min-kwan surprised everyone by revealing that his monthly sales are nearly 100 million won, with at least 150 to 250 orders going out each day.

Han Min-kwan explained the secret to his business, saying, "If we are to establish a hamburger franchise in South Korea, there are already established entities, so I thought we needed something different to avoid being at the mercy of price competition." He then shared the reason he started the hamburger business, stating, "I tried it after failing once. I had a blow-up moment with intestines. I forgot it was in a college area. During vacation, there are no customers, and during exam periods, there are no customers either. I cleanly lost 14 million won," he confessed.

Furthermore, when asked about the difference in income between being a comedian and running a business, Han Min-kwan honestly revealed, "To be honest, making money is much easier with broadcasting work. Going out to do business and all this is a lot harder." The news of Han Min-kwan's return as a boss with sales in the hundreds of millions of won captured the attention of netizens.
