"Handsome Guys" guest star "Trend macho king" Choo Sung-hoon erupts in grief, raising curiosity about the background.
The passionate chemistry of the five brothers, who are sincere about bingo, brings delightful laughter in tvN's "Handsome Guys" (directed by Ryu Ho-jin and Yoon In-hye). It is a variety show that directly explores the cultural heritage and materials representing South Korea. In the 16th episode, airing today (23rd), guest star Kwak Si-yang teams up with Lee Yi-kyung and Shin Seung-ho to form the "Handsomes" team, while Choo Sung-hoon, appearing as a one-day member in place of Kim Dong-hyun, teams up with Cha Tae-hyun and Oh Sang-wook to form the "Guys" team, exploring the delicious noodle dishes of Gangwon Province in the latter half of the "Gangwon-do Noodle Road" bingo race.
Amidst this, Choo Sung-hoon faces a major crisis in the latter half of the race. Known as a "meat lover," Choo Sung-hoon laments, saying, "It's the first time I've only eaten noodles three times in my life" while competing with a single dish 'real restaurant' noodle dish without any side menu. However, after diving into the spicy and sharp Jang-kal-guksu eating broadcast, Choo Sung-hoon surprises Cha Tae-hyun and Oh Sang-wook by saying, "Japan has spicy food, but nothing is as deliciously spicy as this," showcasing unexpected spiciness pride, raising curiosity about the "Gangwon-do Noodle Road" that made him forget his love for meat.
On the same day, Choo Sung-hoon unexpectedly erupts in grief, drawing attention. While struggling to solve puzzles at each bingo spot, Choo Sung-hoon reflects, saying, "I haven't studied until now," and then pours out his frustrations, stating, "I can't do anything. Please don't call me next time." When puzzles come up, Choo Sung-hoon's appearance, pouting in a huff, prompts Cha Tae-hyun to remark, "Why is he sulking like this?" leading to humorous attempts to console his "macho brother."
Indeed, attention is focused on whether the "macho man" Choo Sung-hoon, who has become dispirited by the bingo quiz, can overcome the crisis and seize victory in the "Gangwon-do Noodle Road" bingo race.
Meanwhile, tvN's "Handsome Guys" airs every Sunday at 7:40 p.m., and starting from April 17 (Thursday), it will be broadcast every Thursday.
