Shinee's Minho became a victory fairy.
Minho appeared as the pitcher for the opening game of the '2025 Shinhan SOL BANK KBO League' between the SSG Landers and Doosan Bears on the 22nd at Incheon SSG Landers Field. Hailing from Incheon, he is a longtime fan of the SSG Landers and has served as a pitcher multiple times.
Before the opening, he took the mound after receiving coaching from SSG Landers pitcher Park Jong-hoon. Thanks to his tall stature and handsome appearance, he completed a perfect uniform setup. Minho wore a matching cap and belt, throwing the ball magnificently.
Inspired by Minho, the SSG Landers achieved a thrilling comeback victory. While trailing 4-5, after one out in the bottom of the eighth inning, Park Seong-han reached base on a walk, and Oh Tae-gon came in as a pinch hitter for Hae Jae-hoon. Oh Tae-gon hit a two-run homer against Doosan Bears' strong relief pitcher Lee Yong-ha, leading to the turnaround.
When the SSG Landers turned the game around to 6-5, Minho cheered loudly by posting a snapshot on his Instagram story, stating, "Opening game victory. Victory fairy achieved. Let’s aim for victory in 2025." SSG Landers fans enthusiastically responded, saying they benefited from Minho’s presence in the comeback.
Meanwhile, Minho held the '2025 Minho Concert 'Min: Of My First' in Manila' on the 16th at the New Frontier Theater in Manila. He successfully completed his first Asia tour with a total of seven performances across five regions, starting in Seoul last November and continuing to Kaohsiung, Chiba, Macau, and Manila.
