The program "Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I Missed You" conveys the untold stories of Yoon Do-hyun and the late Shin Ha-cheol.
In the third episode of the ENA entertainment program "Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I Missed You," which will air tonight at 9:40 p.m., legendary rock band YB leader Yoon Do-hyun confesses the unfulfilled dreams of Shin Ha-cheol, who passed away in 2014.
Yoon Do-hyun first presents a taste of YB's new song "Voyeurist," which was the first heavy metal album released in history, and creates a rock festival atmosphere. Additionally, he reveals the headbanging challenge of the title song "Rebellion," which has been gaining attention on social media, providing amusing moments. A medley of YB's mega hit songs will also be showcased to elevate the mood.
In particular, this broadcast reveals the lesser-known backstory of Shin Ha-cheol and Yoon Do-hyun, who unfortunately passed away. Yoon Do-hyun, who noted that Shin Ha-cheol had over 100 unpublished songs, reveals, "Ha-cheol hyung wanted to join YB. He had intentions of being a songwriter or producer," cautiously sharing Shin Ha-cheol's musical aspirations.
Meanwhile, Yoon Do-hyun mentions the changed values in his life after battling cancer. Having suffered from a rare cancer called Waldenström's lymphoma, Yoon Do-hyun says he experienced significant mental distress during his treatment, coinciding with the COVID-19 pandemic, which adds to the sympathy. He feels everything around him became more precious after his battle with illness. Furthermore, Yoon Do-hyun is reported to have shown resilience, asserting that his heartbreaking experience became a turning point for him, embracing a new mindset for his musical activities.
On the other hand, Yoon Do-hyun shares a ghost sighting story that sends chills down spines but also sparks envy. This story, revealed for the first time on air, involves not just Yoon Do-hyun, but also his family and manager, provoking intense engagement from listeners. Yoon Do-hyun adds a surprising note, saying that as the saying goes, "Seeing a ghost brings good fortune," his song "Letting You Go" has made a resurgence in the charts, and this has led to YB reuniting.
