The group ASTRO (affiliated with Fantagio) member Yoon San-ha celebrated an unforgettable birthday with a small theater concert.
Yoon held his second small theater concert "YOON SAN-HA : SANiGHT Project #2 - Meeting" at Samseong Hall, Ewha Womans University in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, on the 21st in two sessions at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
This "Meeting" is Yoon San-ha's solo concert presented on his birthday for two consecutive years, following last year. Various cover songs, consistently showcased through self-produced music content "SANiGHT," were performed with perfect synergy from the band session, delivering a well-made live experience. The first performance was streamed online to engage with more global fans.
On this day, Yoon opened sweetly with his rearranged solo song "24 Hours," infused with the approaching spring sentiment. He also performed tracks from his first solo mini-album released last year, such as "Losing My Mind," along with covers like "Youth Comic," "Falling Stars," and "Even in Spring," allowing the audience to enjoy his unique delicate and charming voice.
In particular, Yoon's song selection and stage incorporated his versatile charm, delivering a delightful experience. He passionately sang "Little Star," "Dry Flower," and "If You're Here" accompanied by guitar. He also showcased a feel-good excitement with the debut of the pop song "24/7, 365."
As it was a small theater performance, Yoon San-ha delivered a main corner that allowed closer communication with the audience each year, providing a unique joy. He recalled meaningful memories by singing a line from the musical number from "Crash Landing on You" based on a story sent by Aroha (ASTRO's official fandom name) about their first encounter or reenacting the choreography of ASTRO's "Baby" and scenes from the music video for "Candy Sugar Pop." He also responded to fan stories with witty song recommendations like the proposal song "Will You Marry Me," the acoustic version of "For Today Only I LOVE YOU," and "Thinking of You," raising the atmosphere in the concert hall.
For the encore song "Break," Yoon noted, "SANiGHT is truly a fun performance. I wonder if we could meet again next year. I'm also very curious about my appearance on my birthday next year," bringing excitement to the fans.
He added, "I thank the fans who came to the venue to celebrate my birthday, as well as those who couldn't come but congratulated me from afar."
Additionally, San-ha mentioned, "I'm busy in May, June, and July. We (ASTRO) are all practicing hard," hinting at a full-group comeback, which received cheers from the fans.
Yoon concluded the SANiGHT with his self-composed song "Fox Star" and added emotion until the end with a "Hi-Bye Event" where he personally saw off the departing fans.
Meanwhile, Yoon is a member of ASTRO and is actively engaging in various activities as a solo artist across music, performances, and acting. He will take on the lead role of Park Yoon-jae in the upcoming new drama "My Girlfriend is a Picky Eater," continuing his work as an actor.
