Actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are expected to skip the 'Star Party.'
According to a report from foreign media TMZ on the 21st, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds will not attend the Met Gala scheduled for May 5.
The report stated that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, currently in a lawsuit with Justin Baldoni, have no plans to attend this year's Met Gala, where stars will gather. It appears this decision was made due to the ongoing legal conflict with Justin Baldoni, who is the director and actor of the film 'It's Over.'
However, the media claimed that their legal issues did not influence their absence from the Met Gala, noting that this decision was made months before the conflict with Baldoni arose. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have not responded to this.
This is not the first time they have refused to attend the Met Gala. The couple has not attended fundraising events since 2022, and it has been reported that they skipped last year’s event to spend time with their children at home.
Blake Lively previously filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni over conflicts that arose during the filming of 'It's Over.' In response, Baldoni's side filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times for defamation and invasion of privacy following an article covering Lively's claims.
Subsequently, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni for retaliation in violation of federal and California state laws for reporting sexual harassment and workplace safety issues, and last January, Baldoni filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist.
Blake Lively is reportedly collaborating with Nick Shapiro, a former chief of staff at the CIA and senior advisor to former CIA Director General John Brennan, who has deep connections with the government.
