Yang Jun-hyeok and Park Hyun-seon expressed their desire for a second child once again.
On the broadcast of KBS 1TV's 'Morning Yard' on the 21st, Yang Jun-hyeok said, “I have become a dad. My daughter's name is Lee Jae. When I played baseball, I was called 'Yang God', but now I want to be called 'Lee Jae's dad'. I am a late-blooming dad at 56. I hope Lee Jae grows up well and succeeds.”
Yang Jun-hyeok's wife, Park Hyun-seon, who appeared with him, added, “The expected delivery date was January 1, 2025. However, as I reached the final month, my weight increased to 72 kg. It was swelling. My blood pressure rose to 160, so I had an emergency cesarean section. As a result, my daughter was born a bit small, but she is healthy.”
In 2021, Yang Jun-hyeok entered marriage at the age of 53 and welcomed his long-awaited first child last year, three years after his marriage. He was 55 at the time. However, although there were twins in the mother's womb, the son was stillborn after 8 weeks, and only the daughter was safely born.
Yang Jun-hyeok said, “When my daughter goes to college, I will be 75. When my daughter is about 26, I will try to marry her off quickly. So, I plan to continue working until I am 80.” He also emphasized that he would immediately try for a second child once his wife's health recovered.
Yang Jun-hyeok's desire for a second child has been disclosed previously. He noted that he wanted to raise a son to continue the family lineage in baseball, and just two days ago on SBS's 'My Little Old Boy', he answered that they are even planning for a third child, showcasing their exceptional bond as a couple.
