The teaser video for the Battle of the Year (BOTY) World Final has been released.
The teaser video released by the Korea Breaking Federation on the official website on the 19th was filmed at a landmark in Hwaseong Special City, announcing that the 'Battle of the Year World Final,' a dream stage for b-boys and b-girls, will be held in South Korea for the first time.
The 'Battle of the Year World Final,' hosted by Hwaseong Special City and organized by the Korea Breaking Federation, is one of the top five major competitions in breaking and is the longest-running event.
Earlier, the Korea Breaking Federation signed a contract with Germany's Six Step GmbH on Jan. 23 to obtain the licensing rights to host the competition for three years starting in 2025. Additionally, on March 11, there was a meeting with Hwaseong Special Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun to ensure the successful hosting of the event.
The 'Battle of the Year (BOTY) World Final' will be operated in four institutional sectors: breaking individual competition, all-style duo competition, international kids all-style, and the main event which will be the breaking group competition. It will take place on Sept. 20-21, 2025, at the indoor gymnasium of Hwaseong Comprehensive Sports Town located in Hwaseong Special City.
