The music video for the group BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" has surpassed 800 million views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment on the 20th, the music video for BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" exceeded 800 million views on YouTube at around 1:31 p.m. It has been approximately 1,630 days since its release on Oct. 2, 2020.

"Lovesick Girls" gained popularity with its lyrical melody over country-style guitar sounds and BLACKPINK's powerful vocals. Jisoo and Jennie participated in the songwriting and composing, and the music video received praise for highlighting the members' mature inner acting, unlike previous works.

"Lovesick Girls" also showed remarkable achievements on global charts. Upon its release, it recorded 59th on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Global YouTube Song Top 100 chart for two consecutive weeks. The album containing this song, "THE ALBUM," debuted at No. 2 on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and the U.K. Official Album Chart in its first week, and subsequently ranked for 10 weeks and 7 weeks, respectively.

With this, BLACKPINK now has a total of 13 videos on YouTube with over 800 million views. Previously, "DDU-DU DDU-DU" (2.2 billion views), "Kill This Love" (2 billion views), "How You Like That" performance video (1.8 billion views) and music video (1.3 billion views), "Boombayah" (1.7 billion views), "As If It's Your Last" (1.4 billion views), Lisa's solo track "MONEY" performance video (1 billion views), Jennie's solo track "SOLO" (1 billion views), "Pink Venom" (900 million views), "Ice Cream" (900 million views), "Whistle" (900 million views), and "Playing With Fire" (900 million views) have achieved the same view count.

So far, BLACKPINK has produced a total of 48 videos with over a hundred million views on YouTube, breaking first and best records every minute and every second, regardless of team or solo performances. The cumulative views of these videos have surpassed 38.2 billion, and the number of subscribers to the official YouTube channel is currently over 96.1 million, making it the top in this field among artists worldwide.

BLACKPINK will launch the [BLACKPINK 2025 WORLD TOUR] starting with the main stadium at Goyang Sports Complex on July 5-6. They will connect with global fans through 18 performances in a total of 10 cities, including four cities in North America (Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York) and four cities in Europe (Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London), culminating in Tokyo, Japan. Given that this is the first tour in about 1 year and 5 months since [BORN PINK], which drew approximately 1.8 million spectators and set new records for K-pop girl groups, the scale is expected to gradually expand.
