Swings talked about the Thanos role he was considered for.
On the 19th, in the broadcast of MBC 'Radio Star', Swings, who is venturing into acting, shared that he was in the running for the Thanos role in Netflix's 'Squid Game 2'.
Swings said, "I've wanted to act since I was a child," and "I spend more time watching movies than listening to music." In response, Kim Gu-ra said, "There’s a feeling like Namsung, the epitome of male macho."
Swings said, "Director Hwang Dong-hyuk considered me for the Thanos role in 'Squid Game 2'. What was interesting was that I had been attending an acting academy for about 2 or 3 weeks before seeing that interview," which caught attention.
Swings said, "Looking at that role, I thought I wouldn't be able to pull it off at all. I'm a rapper, right? Can a rapper look cool? Or is it a caricature? I feel like I can't do that. Since I'm more of a 4D person, even if I have that side to me, I don’t think I could act like that."
Jang Doyoun said, "At first, when Swings appeared in the rap competition, I thought, how can there be such a character? If that aspect is exaggerated, I think another Thanos character could emerge."
Swings said, "That's true. But that was 12 years ago. I think it’s a bit different from how I am now." He also noted that for roles he wants to try in the future, "I have a bit of a pathetic or lacking image, and my image is macho. It’s not always like that. I think it would be fun to go for a completely opposite image."
In response, Jeong Jun-ho said, "We are preparing the movie 'Two Sabu Ilche 3'. There was a role that actor Jeong Untak played, but Jeong Untak is currently working as a missionary. I think Swings would fit that role," referring to the Daekari role.
Jeong Jun-ho said, "I have a certain degree of decision-making power. I also participate in the production," and noted, "I will actively consider it. Since it's the first time, the grant will be reasonable," showing a positive response.
