Actor Lim Hyung-jun received a voice phishing message.
On the 18th, Lim Hyung-jun uploaded a photo to his social account, saying, "I received a message like this too..."
The published photo included the message that Lim received that day. This was from a smishing fraudster who commits phishing crimes using text messages.
The sender sent a message saying, "Dad, I left my phone for repair and sent you a message from a temporary number. Did you get the text?" To this, Lim Hyung-jun replied, "Yes."
Then the sender asked, "Since I can't verify because my phone is in for repair, can I connect to dad's phone to apply for insurance? Is it possible now?" Lim Hyung-jun responded, "Where are you? Didn't you go to school?"
Lim Hyung-jun noticed that the message was sent by a smishing fraudster and responded calmly. He added, "What's up with feeling nervous after receiving a text?#VoicePhishing#SpamText#SmishingText"
Meanwhile, Lim Hyung-jun married a Korean-American woman who is 10 years younger than him in 2012 and has a son, but they divorced in 2018. He remarried in 2023 to Hasemi, a pilates instructor who is 13 years younger, and welcomed a late-born daughter. He appeared on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny,' which aired last year, to share his remarried life.
