Kun (real name Noh Soo-il), formerly of the group Up10tion, officially started a new chapter in life with a surprise marriage announcement following the news of his acceptance as a shopping host last year.
Kun posted a handwritten letter on the fan cafe on the 20th, saying, "I came to the fan cafe after a long time because I have something to share with you today," personally announcing the marriage news.
He expressed gratitude to fans, saying, "It has already been 10 years since my debut in 2015. During that long time, I think I was able to become the 31-year-old Noh Soo-il I am today while creating many memories with Honey10s.
He went on to say, "As I contemplated how to tell such Honey10s, I wanted to gather the courage to first speak to the Honey10s who always supported and sent me love."
Kun stated, "I have met the person I will be with for the rest of my life," adding, "We have shared both joyful and tough days, and I have decided that I want to walk forward with this person."
He continued, "From now on, I will do my best on the various paths I must walk and in the days that are given to me, and I will strive to show a version of Noh Soo-il that I will not be ashamed of to those who support me."
Additionally, Kun shared his overwhelming feelings about the upcoming marriage with OSEN that day, saying, "I still feel dazed," and added, "I haven't fully felt it yet, but I felt a sense of responsibility since I am becoming a head of the family, so I thought I have to live diligently."
He also noted, "I imagine the fans were surprised, but there are many supporters. I am grateful that they wish me happiness, and as they support me, I want to show them good things in the future."
Kun debuted with Up10tion after releasing their first EP, "Top Secret," in 2015, and he has since been active as a rapper within the team, releasing songs such as "Blue Rose," "Dream You," "Focus on Me," and "Your Gravity."
After his exclusive contract with T.O.P Media ended in 2023, Kun left the group and garnered attention for passing the audition as a shopping host last year.
Kun shared his future plans, stating, "I plan to work hard as a shopping host, and if I get the chance, I would like to appear in other programs as well," expressing his determination to keep working hard.
