In the MBN program 'Exclusive World' aired on 20th, the appearance of Kim Dae-sung searching for his biological mother for the sixth year was depicted. Dressed in a red suit, he energized the event and said, 'I lost my mother when I was young and grew up in my grandmother's arms. My mother's name is like this. She is about 59 years old. If anyone around could spread the word widely and if you hear anything, please contact me.'

Having even prepared flyers, he expressed, 'I don't know where my mother is, and I only have one photo and her name, so there's no way to find her. Therefore, I aim to become a big singer. It's to find my mother,' he added, 'I always carry flyers when I go to performances or walk around. I talk about my mother during good stages in hopes that someone who knows something, even a small clue, might come forward, so I keep doing it.'

However, why has it only been six years since he found his biological mother? The answer lies in the fact that he was unaware of her existence. Kim Dae-sung said, 'I didn't even know that I had a mother. My father hardly came during holidays, just visiting to buy things for us three siblings and then leaving,' and he recounted, 'One night my father came to visit and said, 'You need to know something.' He said that only my mother among the three siblings was different. How much I cried, I still have that feeling from back then, but at that time, I couldn't express it.'

A twist came for Kim Dae-sung. He was able to connect with his mother, who called after hearing his story on a broadcast. However, Kim Dae-sung had a troubled expression, as his mother found it difficult to contact him due to her having a family.

Kim Dae-sung visited his grandmother's grave and said, 'Grandma, even though I found my mom, I'm feeling this way. She is married with a husband and daughter, so she said she couldn't tell me that she had children. So, she asked me to wait for another 2 to 3 years,' and he cried, saying, 'I've waited 42 years, can’t I wait one more year? I'll try to wait, Grandma.'
