'On Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together,' Yoon Da-hoon mentioned his daughter, born out of wedlock, and shed tears.
On the afternoon of the 20th, the KBS2 show 'On Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' took actors Kim Cheong and Yoon Da-hoon on a time-travel journey to the historic and traditional Yangban village, known as Inyang-ri traditional village.
Yoon Da-hoon, who had a daughter due to a connection made during his military leave, noted, "My parents said, 'Since it's your child, it's natural that we raise her,' but I now realize how hard it must have been for them because of me. Now I think of my parents wherever I go."
Yoon Da-hoon also mentioned that his mother often told his daughter, "You shouldn't talk about your dad at school. Whenever you go anywhere, always stay by your grandmother." At that time, he had kept the fact of having a child a secret, so he shared a heartbreaking story about how his daughter never came to him but only watched him from behind.
When asked whether his granddaughter is prettier than his daughter, Yoon Da-hoon said, "My daughter is prettier," shedding tears. He mentioned that he still has many regrets about his daughter, wiping his tears.
As a 10-year expatriate, Yoon Da-hoon explained, "In the beginning, it was really hard. There are traces of home. When I see those, I get choked up. I couldn't enter the main room." He noted that the second to third year was especially the toughest.
Regarding the reason his family went to Canada, Yoon Da-hoon revealed, "My aunt went first. Then my younger brother's household went, followed by my younger sister's household." He shared that initially, just hearing voices over the phone made him cry.
