Actor Jeong Eun-ji is showcasing a bold acting transformation in '24 Hour Health Club.'

The new KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama '24 Hour Health Club,' directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo and written by Kim Ji-soo, is set to premiere on April 30 at 9:50 p.m. It is a heart-pounding romantic comedy where the dedicated health enthusiast director Do Hyun-jung radically corrects the lives of members overwhelmed by worries.

In the drama, Jeong Eun-ji plays the role of the 'muscle-less' health club member Im Mi-ran, delivering a stellar performance. Im Mi-ran, who enters the health club after a shocking breakup, decides to trust trainer Do Hyun-jung (played by Lee Jun-young) and undergoes intensive management, believing he will change her body and life. Having been far from exercising, Mi-ran faces unexpected trials as she starts working out to overcome her heartbreak.

In stills released today (20th), Jeong Eun-ji captivates attention with her appearance as Im Mi-ran. Notably, she completed her character's high sync rate by gaining weight, wearing baggy clothes.

In another still, Mi-ran is seen in a state of rapture in front of food, exuding a cute charm. As she savorily devours chicken, she contemplates how to pursue a more perfect taste, creating a relatable reality. However, her struggles to work out at the gym are caught on camera, amplifying curiosity about the dynamic story of Mi-ran, who is unpredictable.

Through this drama, Jeong Eun-ji is expected to perfectly convey not only her loveliness but also her comic side, radiating an irreplaceable presence. She is anticipated to continue her reputation as the 'trustworthy comedic icon.' Viewers can look forward to how the charming Im Mi-ran character, played by Jeong Eun-ji, will evolve, as she embarks on the challenge of building yet another life-defining character.

In this regard, the production team noted, "Jeong Eun-ji, acknowledged as a self-proclaimed exercise enthusiast, empathizes with the process of Im Mi-ran's life changing through exercise, vividly expressing that journey. Jeong Eun-ji has dedicated herself wholeheartedly, even striving to gain weight for her character who is sincere about food and love. Her perfect internal immersion and her willingness to undergo external changes deeply impressed us. You can look forward to how Jeong Eun-ji's portrayal of Im Mi-ran will turn out."

'24 Hour Health Club,' which announces the birth of an unprecedented health drama, is a collaboration between director Park Jun-soo, recognized for his vibrant direction in 'Gauss Electronics' and 'Music's God,' and writer Kim Ji-soo, who displayed a delicate and delightful writing style in 'Postnatal Care Center.'
