Comedian Shin Gilu expressed great anger at fake news on social media claiming he had died.
On the 18th, Shin posted a photo along with the message, "Facebook aggro, I can overlook something like saying I'll die within ten years since people are unpredictable, but this is really too much... I'm fine, my blood pressure is normal, and I just had lamb skewers today, but I was shocked by how delicious the tomato and egg stir-fry was."
He further expressed extreme anger by saying, "Those who kill people trying to survive with the last bit of strength, who do this kind of nonsense with their fingers, should all be punished by heaven."
The released photo contains information that Shin Gilu allegedly died suddenly at home. The fake news circulating on social media included misleading statements such as, 'Everyone said to lose weight, but Shin Gilu shockingly died at home, and everyone cried out due to high blood pressure shock.' Additionally, the photo featured chrysanthemums next to Shin Gilu's face along with the comment, "May the deceased rest in peace," further and alarmingly transforming it to look like a real article.
Meanwhile, Shin Gilu, who debuted in 2005 with KBS's 'Comedy Club,' has recently been actively participating in shows such as 'Therapy House Era One' and 'The Manager,' and won the Best Chemistry Award at the '2024 SBS Entertainment Awards' with Lee Guk-joo and Pung-ja.
