Singer and artist Solbi (Kwon Ji-an) will participate in the special exhibition 'Stop! Cyberbullying' at the Second Lobby of the National Assembly in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, on the 25th and 26th, her agency Jian Castle announced on the 19th.
The 'Stop! Cyberbullying' exhibition was organized to raise awareness about cyberbullying (online group harassment) and to seek solutions to the problem in order to establish a healthy online culture.
Cyberbullying occurs in various forms, including portals, social networking services (SNS), comments, articles, videos, and messaging apps. The exhibition organizers explained that cyberbullying has become a social issue as it affects not only celebrities and politicians but also ordinary people.
Along with Solbi, Gen.Kim Tae-young, Kim Won-geun, Kim Jin-woo, Seo Seung-jun, and Ilros will examine the issue of cyberbullying from an artistic perspective through this exhibition, highlighting its seriousness.
A documentary titled 'Painting Through Pain,' featuring Solbi and highlighting cyber violence, will also be screened. This work, which deals with cyber violence, won a silver award in the documentary institutional sector at the 2024 New York Festivals TV & Film Awards.
