Actor Seo Kang-joon has transformed into a 'National Intelligence Service chemistry agent' in 'Undercover High School.'
The ongoing MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' (written by Lim Yeong-bin, directed by Choi Jeong-in, abbreviated as 'Underschool') is showcasing its role as a drama that is visually appealing with diverse stories, fast-paced developments, and various relationships among characters.
In the drama, Jung Hae-sung (played by Seo Kang-joon) is attracting attention due to his inseparable relationship with Ahn Seok-ho (played by Jeon Bae-soo). Seok-ho has always supported Hae-sung, silently backing him in whatever he did. However, in the 8th episode, cracks began to form between the two.
Seok-ho has been waiting for Hae-sung to tell him that his identity has been exposed, but Hae-sung suspects that the mole might be Seok-ho. Later, Seok-ho raised his voice to Hae-sung, saying he was focusing on other matters instead of the operation, leading to a conflict. While their tense tug-of-war is making the drama more thrilling, viewers are eager to see what changes will occur between the two in the upcoming episode.
Meanwhile, the chemistry between Hae-sung and his younger sister Ahn Yu-jung (played by Park Se-hyun) has received enthusiastic responses from viewers. When Yu-jung cursed, Hae-sung warned her that it was a bad word, to which she retorted, "Oh, it smells like an old man!". Additionally, in the 8th episode, Hae-sung attached a note to a coffee, asking, "Did you think I was a guy?" and Yu-jung responded, "Don't ever do this again. Are you a library villain?" showcasing their delightful banter and strong sibling chemistry.
Moreover, the encounters between Hae-sung and Lee Dong-min (played by Shin Joon-hang) are also points of interest. Hae-sung quickly became friends with Dong-min while helping him who was being bullied, and they grew closer while discussing a rumor that was the key to finding the gold bullion. Particularly, in the 4th episode, when Hae-sung asked Dong-min if he had any close friends during the process of collecting signatures to join the student council, Dong-min humorously replied, "Are you asking me?"
In this way, Hae-sung is exuding rich chemistry with each character, injecting vitality into the drama. From humorous moments to deeply engaging stories, Hae-sung's episodes are firmly captivating viewers at home.
Thanks to this, 'Undercover High School' ranked first for four consecutive weeks in TV drama and non-drama combined topic popularity for the second week of March, and also secured the second position in TV-OTT integrated topic popularity, garnering enthusiastic responses from viewers.
