Fans are sending heartfelt applause for Bae Jung-nam and his dog Bell's good health.
Bae Jung-nam shared several videos on his personal social media account on the 17th, stating, "Because of my love for 'Pikpik,' my neck has become stronger and I'm flying around, my baby." In the videos, he is playing with Bell and a 'Pikpik.' Bell is energetically running around, showcasing impressive rehabilitation abilities.
In August 2022, Bae Jung-nam shocked fans by revealing that his dog was unable to move or stand due to acute disc disease, saying, "I want to show only Bell's healthy and cute appearance, but... I was unable to do so." He noted that 60% of the cervical vertebrae were compressed.
Bae Jung-nam visited the rehabilitation center every day to support Bell's rehabilitation. At that time, he recalled on SBS's 'Animal Farm,' "After getting an MRI, I found out that the acute disc has burst. In the cervical vertebrae. Just like when a person has a neck disc, it can lead to paralysis. It felt like everything was falling apart, even though he wasn't at an age to be like that yet."
As if knowing Bae Jung-nam's sincerity, Bell improved day by day. The veterinarian stated, "In rehabilitation treatment, emotional interaction is really important, and seeing Dad (Bae Jung-nam) participating together gives Bell a sense of will, and he is improving."
"If we do our best until the end, a miracle will happen," said Bae Jung-nam, and a true miracle has indeed come to Bell. Less than a year after starting rehabilitation exercises, Bell began to stand up and walk on his own. Although he is wobbling while walking with a support device, it is a miracle compared to the time when he couldn't even stand.
And once again, a miracle has occurred. After two and a half years since the disc diagnosis, Bell is now able to run without a support device, moving many to tears. The beautiful miracle of Bae Jung-nam and his 12-year-old dog Bell continues to unfold.
