The Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation (Chairperson: Lee Seong-hee) announced today (19th) that Jung Dong-won's official fan club 'Wooju Chongdongwon' donated 10 million won to support the medical expenses for children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases, in celebration of Jung Dong-won's birthday, continuing from last year.
Jung Dong-won is involved in good deeds, regularly donating the revenue from his first album to help friends battling pediatric cancer and leukemia, and fans are joining in by supporting charitable efforts in honor of Jung Dong-won's birthday and debut anniversary, contributing to the spread of a beautiful culture of sharing.
The funds delivered by Jung Dong-won's fan club 'Wooju Chongdongwon' will be used for the medical expenses of children suffering from pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases. The Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation's support program for surgical and hospital treatment expenses provides support ranging from a minimum of 5 million won to a maximum of 30 million won for children diagnosed with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases under 25 years old, and is used for surgical and hospital treatment costs, transplant costs, rare drug purchases, and hospital assistive devices.
A representative from 'Wooju Chongdongwon' who delivered the donations said, "We continue the positive influence in honor of the birthday of Jung Dong-won, who consistently practices good deeds with the Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation, and the official fan club Wooju Chongdongwon will join in this effort."
