Band DAY6 has successfully completed its debut solo concert in Gwangju.
DAY6 held a total of two solo performances as part of its third world tour 'DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR 'FOREVER YOUNG'' on the 15th and 16th at Gwangju Women's University Universiade Gymnasium in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju. This concert, being the first solo concert in Gwangju since the group's debut in September 2015, brought additional joy and recorded sold-out attendance over both days, proving the intense interest and expectations of the fans.
DAY6 captivated fans with performances of hit songs representing the group such as 'One Page' and 'Congratulations,' as well as 'Melting Away,' 'HAPPY,' and 'Welcome to the Show,' which have been consistently loved since their release last year. The members maintained friendly communication with fans throughout the performance, sharing unforgettable moments together, while the audience responded with a warm atmosphere, participating in a group slogan event inscribed with the phrase 'May the lights filling this place help DAY6 become even happier.'
Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon noted, "My Day (fandom name: My Day) is our center and motivation. We want to someday give back the energy we have received from you. Sometimes, when I miss performances, I take out videos to watch. I will do my best to see as many My Days as possible. I hope your future is filled with good luck, and let's promise to stay healthy and happy until the day we meet again."
The third world tour of DAY6, ongoing amid enthusiastic support from fans at home and abroad, will continue to Daegu on the 29th to 30th, Sydney on April 6th to 7th, Melbourne on the 9th, Auckland, New Zealand, on the 12th, Los Angeles on the 16th to 17th (local time), New York on the 19th, Yokohama on the 26th to 27th, and Jakarta on May 3rd.
