Actor Cha Seung-won expressed gratitude to YG Entertainment, with which he has shared a decade of ups and downs.
Recently, Cha Seung-won gifted a coffee truck in front of the YG Entertainment building located in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo District, Seoul.
The coffee truck, as seen in the published photos, features a message in Cha Seung-won's name that reads, "Thank you for 10 years at YG, it has been enjoyable and I appreciate it." Along with this, photos taken during his approximately 10 years at YG were also included.
Cha Seung-won signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment in January 2014 and has maintained loyalty for over 11 years. However, on Jan. 17, YG announced through an official press release that it would be restructuring its business to focus on its core operations in music and would be terminating its actor management business as part of that plan, leading its affiliated actors to leave YG and find new homes.
Subsequently, on the 10th, Cha Seung-won announced his move to KeyEast, following which actors such as Kim Hee-ae and Seo Jeong-yeon, who had also worked with him at YG Entertainment, transferred to KeyEast.
Following the termination of his exclusive contract due to the end of the actor management business, it appears that Cha Seung-won sent a coffee truck to YG Entertainment employees to express his gratitude for the years spent together.
Meanwhile, Cha Seung-won is set to meet audiences this year through the film "No Other Choice" and the Netflix series "Gwangjang." Additionally, it has been reported that he will be appearing in the new Netflix series "Slow and Intense."
