A video showing a man presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun together with Kim Sae-ron at her house was released by the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, which continues to claim that this is indeed Kim Soo-hyun.
On the 18th, Garosero Research Institute (hereafter referred to as Gaseyeon) released another video titled '[Exclusive] Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron's 'date at home' video revealed.
In particular, Gaseyeon claimed, "The family of the deceased agreed to the video release," and released a video showing a man watching TV at Kim Sae-ron's home. This man is alleged to be actor Kim Soo-hyun. However, his face was not shown; only his voice was heard, and the man presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun was seen touching Kim Sae-ron's back, saying, "You're too tense," while Kim Sae-ron replied, "Am I being filmed continuously?"
Earlier, the family of the late Kim Sae-ron claimed through the YouTube channel Gaseyeon that actor Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron for six years, starting at the age of 15, and that despite suffering hardships after the late Kim's traffic accident in 2022 and pausing activities, he pressured her to repay 700 million won borrowed to address the accident.
On the afternoon of the 17th, the legal representative of the late Kim Sae-ron's family, attorney Bu Ji-seok of the law firm Buyou, held a press conference in front of the Seoul Police Department to convey the family's position and indicated legal action against Kim Soo-hyun. On the afternoon of the 18th, Kim Soo-hyun's side denied accusations that they pressured the late Kim Sae-ron regarding the repayment of 700 million won, stating they sent a second notice.
Kim Soo-hyun's agency, Gold Medalist, clarified, "We have not demanded that Kim Sae-ron compensate for any damages to any production. Claiming damages by posting photos on social media or contacting agency actors is also impossible," and added, "The second notice sent was to provide Kim Sae-ron with more accurate guidance regarding the notice."
Meanwhile, that evening, the Gaseyeon side that released the video threatened Kim Soo-hyun again, saying, "If you say it's not you, there is another video to respond to, which shows Kim Soo-hyun's face." They added, "We are waiting for your statement tomorrow." As the truth continues to be contested, attention is focused on whether Kim Soo-hyun's side will issue an additional statement.
