JYP Entertainment’s rookie boy group KickFlip will perform on the stage of their first global large-scale music festival this summer.

According to a post made on March 18 (local time) on the official social media channels of Lollapalooza, KickFlip will perform at the world-renowned music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago,' held in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, from July 31 to August 3. Therefore, KickFlip will showcase at a large-scale music festival approximately six months after their debut in January, radiating the energy of 'K-pop's next-generation super rookies.'

'Lollapalooza' is a global music festival that started in 1991 in Chicago, America, taking place in various parts of the world, including the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, and France. Each year, over 170 teams participate during the festival period, attracting an average of about 115,000 spectators per day. With their outstanding performances and live skills, KickFlip is captivating fans both domestically and internationally as they anticipate their activities on the Lollapalooza stage, which is attracting the attention of music fans worldwide.

On January 20, KickFlip made their debut with their mini-album 'Flip it, Kick it!' and the title track 'Mama Said (What's it gonna be?)', successfully concluding their first activities. The new album topped the Circle Chart weekly album chart and weekly retail album chart (from Jan. 19 to Jan. 25, 2025) and achieved official first-week certification with a cumulative sales figure of 276,881 copies according to the Hanteo chart. Additionally, just 33 days after their debut, they proved their limitless potential by becoming winners of two awards at a music awards ceremony.

Recently, KickFlip has been engaging with fans through various original content shared on their official social media channels, attracting fan affection. Through the series 'Kick 2 Kick,' which features members pairing up to have conversations every Wednesday, they are showcasing fantastic chemistry, and on the 21st, they will unveil their travel-specific content 'What are you gonna be on your trip?' which highlights their free-spirited charm.
