NCT member Mark (affiliated with SME) will release the pre-release track “+82 Pressin” (Feat. Haechan) today (19th).
Mark's first solo album track “+82 Pressin” (Feat. Haechan) will be available on various global music platforms at 6 p.m., and the music video will also be available simultaneously through YouTube SMTOWN channel among others.
The new song “+82 Pressin” (Feat. Haechan) is an appealing hip-hop track featuring a bass line composed of a whistled riff and VOX samples, along with a marching snare and solid kick drum that convey a dynamic atmosphere with its energetic vocals. The lyrics, utilizing the country code +82, were written by Mark himself, expressing the confidence of Mark and Haechan, who are based in Seoul, in a lively and witty manner.
The music video released alongside the audio will depict the story of Mark and Haechan, awakening emotions and adding color to the gray city of Seoul, which is indifferent to interest and love. It is expected to enhance immersion with static camera movements and a unique production reminiscent of the film 'Sin City'.
Mark's first solo album “The Firstfruit” will include sections based on his journey through four cities, namely Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and Seoul. The pre-release track “+82 Pressin” (Feat. Haechan) is the first song from the Seoul section and holds more significance as it is the first duet to be introduced with Haechan, who has been running toward the same dream after coming from Canada.
Mark's first solo album “The Firstfruit” will be released on April 7, and pre-orders are currently available at various online and offline record stores.
