Singer Kang Soo-ji shared her concerns about her hair.

On the 19th, a video titled "Creating flowing hair for those in their 40s and 50s! Kang Soo-ji's recommended hair products" was uploaded on the 'Kang Soo-ji TV: Living, Loving, and Learning' channel.

That day, Kang Soo-ji said, "Today, I am going to talk for the first time about how I manage my long hair. I had my hair permed around 6 months ago. But my hair was straight when I sang 'Purple Scent' in my 20s. It was sleek straight hair. However, as I turned 40 and 50, my hair began to curl and is now slightly wavy. I was surprised. I thought I wasn't wavy at all. As I age, my hair seems to thin and curl. With nutrients decreasing and protein lacking, my hair has become thinner. So now, even if I get a perm, my hair curls if I don't do a blow-dry. This is a hairstyle that requires a perm. Of course, I went to the salon today and got a blow-dry," and shared her difficulties.

She noted, "As women age, hair becomes a part they always worry about. Many of you might be concerned about the scalp, hair volume, and hair thickness. So I brought the products I use for my hair," and introduced her hair products.

In particular, Kang Soo-ji explained, "When I went to Japan with Bibiana, she bought this. It looks like mascara but it's clear. Those in their 40s and 50s will relate. After washing, fine hairs stick out. Even with less hair, when I'm on broadcast and someone says, 'Kang Soo-ji, your hair looks puffy,' I use this to tidy up the flyaways. It calms them down. When women reach their 40s and 50s, it’s hard to tell if hair is falling out or growing back. Everything seems to fall out. I've been using this product a lot and it works great."

She continued, "This is a hair cover stick. I started getting gray hairs, and now I have quite a few. But I can’t dye it once a week. Nowadays, I find myself dyeing it every two weeks because I have recordings every two weeks. So when I told a friend, 'I’m in big trouble,' she bought this for me. If I have to go for a recording and see gray hairs? I use this to cover them. It doesn't make a dramatic change but it definitely helps keep them less visible. My hair tends to be thinner on the sides. But it still works well, though if applied incorrectly it can become too bright and leave a red mark in those areas. You have to be careful and apply it in a well-lit situation. If gray hairs suddenly appear, I do this before recordings."

She also mentioned, "The most important thing is scalp care. I have psoriasis at the back of my head that sometimes itches. I use a special shampoo for the scalp daily, and my husband, who is concerned about hair loss, uses a functional shampoo that prevents it while I use the scalp-specific one."

Kang Soo-ji emphasized the importance of essence, saying, "I used to have such beautiful hair in my 20s. Just washing and lightly blow-drying would make it shine. Now, even after blow-drying, my hair lacks shine. This is the essence I use; it reduces static cling."

She then talked about hair oil, saying, "When I was in France, it was constantly advertised on television. So, I bought it once. On days when my hair feels very dry, applying this makes it look like I have a wet hairstyle. It gives the appearance of healthier hair. But it's heavy. After a while, it starts weighing down. For those with really damaged hair, maybe trying this could help."

She added, "Hair is very important for both women and men. Depending on the hairstyle, the image changes dramatically. Many older women say, 'Hair is life for women.' Since I dye my hair often, even after getting a perm, it's not as clean. As for perms, I can hardly do it. So I'm struggling with various hair issues. I will consider changing my hairstyle soon. While hair and scalp are all important, health is the top priority, so please take care of your health."
