A hot meeting took place between Jin, a member of the group BTS, and Matsushige Yutaka, a 'professional solo eater' who has swept across Asia.
On the evening of 18th at 9 p.m., Jin appeared on the 26th episode of the self-produced entertainment program 'Run, Jin,' uploaded on BTS's YouTube channel, where he went on a full conquest of a jjimjilbang with Matsushige Yutaka, an actor and director from the popular Japanese drama 'Kodoku no Gurume,' and broadcaster Kangnam. He demonstrated his expertise at the jjimjilbang by teaching Matsushige Yutaka, who was experiencing a Korean jjimjilbang for the first time, how to make a head towel and introducing popular menu items from the snack bar.
Jin brought out Matsushige Yutaka's genuine laughter with his unique friendliness. He shared his experiences in Japanese onsens, creating a relaxed atmosphere, and perfectly performed the role of a sensibly entertaining host by pointing out that the steam-cooked stone eggs should be cracked on the head before eating. Matsushige Yutaka was captivated by Jin's introduction, expressing admiration for the taste of sii-kkye, and showcasing satisfaction after enjoying the refreshing cold noodles served after the jjimjilbang, bringing lots of laughter.
Those who spent a hot time together vowed to meet again. Matsushige Yutaka said, "It was a fun experience. I almost wondered what I came to Korea for," sharing his impressions of filming 'Run, Jin.' In response, Jin noted, "It was an honor to be able to work with a star I’ve seen a lot on TV. If given the opportunity, it would be great to film together again."
In the next episode of 'Run, Jin,' a fencing challenge will unfold with Oh Sangwook, a gold medalist in fencing at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 27th episode, showcasing Jin's fantastic visuals and fencing skills, will be released on the BTS YouTube channel at 9 p.m. on the 25th, and will be available on the global superfan platform Weverse one hour later.
