XIUMIN, a member of the group EXO and a solo artist, bragged about being glad to have become a celebrity.

In an interview published in the April issue of AtStyle on the 19th, XIUMIN, who released his second mini-album 'Interview X' on the 10th, shared the effort he put into the process, saying, "This is my first solo album with the new company, so I put a lot of effort into it. It’s an album that I worked hard on for a year, going out and about myself to improve its perfection."

Before his solo comeback, XIUMIN showcased his unit stage at a Chen Baek Xi fan meeting held in Japan in February. He expressed pride in the teamwork with the members he hadn’t performed with in a while, saying, "The members' skills have improved. Even though the practice period was short, our synergy was really good."

Approaching his 12th year since debut, and having been in the industry for 17 years when including his trainee period, XIUMIN stated, "I have never once regretted choosing the entertainment industry. I am proud to be part of K-pop. Even if I went back in time, I would still choose to be an idol."

XIUMIN continues to actively work not only in his main activities but also as an actor. He will challenge historical drama acting in the upcoming drama 'Heo's Diner,' where he takes on the role of the protagonist, Heo Kyun, set to be released on the 24th. He mentioned, "This is the first time I am properly showcasing the historical drama tone, so I worked hard to get the tone right. I practiced hard to show a noble historical drama tone."

Regarding his romantic chemistry with the co-star, he remarked, "She is an actor who takes her role seriously. She is very considerate, so our synergy when we worked together was great, and the director also helped create a relaxed filming atmosphere, which allowed for a lot of improvisation," raising expectations for their delightful romance chemistry.
