Taiwanese actress the late Seohuiwon's mother and Koo Jun-yeob's mother-in-law, Huang Chun-mei, appeared to target her ex-son-in-law Wang Su-bi in a post.

On the 15th (local time), according to local media such as Taiwan ET Today, Huang Chun-mei posted on her social media, "Imagine what it would feel like to be abused for 10 years, good woman!"

The post has garnered more attention as it was written on the evening of the day when the late Seohuiwon's funeral was held. Local media speculated that Huang Chun-mei was referring to the pain her daughter, Seohuiwon, experienced during her 10-year marriage to her ex-husband, Wang Su-bi.

Additionally, local media interpreted Huang Chun-mei's comment, "She is so proud of herself! Can a person change after dying?" as a criticism toward Wang Su-bi and her former mother-in-law, Zhang Lan.

In response, netizens encouraged her with comments like, "Stay strong," to which Huang Chun-mei replied, "Thank you."

Meanwhile, Seohuiwon was married to Chinese businessman Wang Su-bi, with whom she had two children, but divorced in 2021 and remarried Koo Jun-yeob the following year.

However, Seohuiwon passed away from pneumonia due to influenza on Feb. 2, just three years after their marriage, while traveling in Japan with family. Koo Jun-yeob and other family members conducted some funeral procedures, such as cremation, in Japan before returning to Taiwan with the deceased's remains.

Initially, Seohuiwon's funeral was scheduled to be a tree burial, but it was postponed at the wishes of the family and Koo Jun-yeob, who hoped to establish an independent memorial space for the deceased. As a result, Seohuiwon's urn remained in the home for nearly a month, leading to complaints from neighbors.

Ultimately, Seohuiwon's funeral was held on the 15th at Jinbaoshan (Jinbo Mountain) in Taiwan. Only immediate family participated, including Koo Jun-yeob and their two children, Seohui-je and the mother, while ex-husband Wang Su-bi was absent.
