The rookie girl group Hearts2Hearts has successfully completed its debut activities.
Hearts2Hearts debuted by releasing their first single "The Chase" on Feb. 24, taking their first step into their unique musical world with the dreamlike and mysterious charm of the title track "The Chase" and the warm, lyrical atmosphere of the B-side track "Butterflies." Through three weeks of music broadcast grants, the debut song "The Chase" showcased a stage that maximized the advantages of a multi-member group, blending the captivating choreography with the members' unique personalities, and received a hot response.
In addition, Hearts2Hearts achieved their first music broadcast No. 1 with their debut song "The Chase" just 15 days after their debut, ranking first on the QQ Music K-pop weekly chart in China (for the period of Feb. 27 to Mar. 5) and steadily climbing various major domestic music charts. Rich dance content showcasing Hearts2Hearts' sophisticated performances and diverse entertainment content featuring the chemistry and lively, cheerful images of the eight members were also ranked among YouTube's trending videos, demonstrating the high interest of global fans.
"Hearts2Hearts, which is vigorously advancing toward being the 'best rookie of 2025,' launched their first reality show, "Chat Hearts2Hearts," on Mar. 26 and announced another new song release this year. During a Q&A session, the members shared various stories, from their feelings about wrapping up their debut activities to comeback spoilers.
Q. What are your feelings about wrapping up three weeks of debut activities?
A. Jiwoo: Time went by so fast that it feels like a dream. I am grateful to everyone who has watched the beginning of Hearts2Hearts, and I hope you look forward to our next steps!
A. Yuhwa: I'm really happy to receive so much love from our debut album. I will work harder to repay the support and love from everyone. Please look forward to our next album as well.
A. Jueun: We created unforgettable memories over the three weeks. I want to show more wonderful music and stages as Hearts2Hearts in the future.
A. Iaan: I had such a happy and enjoyable time over the three weeks. I think I will never forget it. Please continue to love Hearts2Hearts!
Q. What was the most memorable moment during your debut activities?
A. Carmen: It was our first music broadcast! I was really touched when our fans remembered and cheered for the support chant that was revealed the day before during our pre-recording.
A. Stella: I also say our first music broadcast. It was my first time going to a broadcast station (laughs). I have nurtured my dreams by watching the stages of my seniors on music broadcasts, so I was very happy to stand on that stage myself.
A. Eina: I remember the day we had our debut stage on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' and my first MC broadcast. I was very nervous, but with our members, fans, and staff all cheering for us, I was able to finish it well.
A. Yeon: The day we appeared on a radio program for the first time is the most memorable for me. It was amazing to actually go on a radio program that I always watched and listened to, and although I was really nervous during the live broadcast, it was so much fun, and the senior DJs treated us warmly, making it comfortable for us. I want to appear again next time!
Q. You received a good response to the music broadcast stages; do you have a favorite stage?
A. Carmen: The stage on the second week of Mnet's 'M Countdown!' It felt like it really matched the concept of "The Chase," and I was so happy while performing on that stage.
A. Yuhwa: I liked the stage on the first week of KBS2TV's 'Music Bank' the most. It was a stage that reflected the props and outfits we used during the debut album jacket shooting! I was curious about how it would be implemented, and I was grateful for the amazing stage they created.
A. Jueun: It was the third week on 'Music Bank!' I thought the members' styling was really pretty.
A. Yeon: I really liked the styling of the second week on 'Show! Music Core.' I also remember wearing the music video outfit that many fans liked during the first week on SBS's 'Inkigayo.'
Q. Among the various responses to the debut song and performance, is there one that stands out?
A. Jiwoo: The reaction that "The Chase" is like "Pyongyang cold noodles sprinkled with stardust!" (laughs) When I first heard it, I thought it felt bland, but I understand it means that the more you listen to "The Chase," the more you fall for its mysterious charm, and I found it a really apt and funny expression.
A. Stella: Since "The Chase" is a song with a new feeling, I think some people may have found it a bit unfamiliar at first, but I was grateful that more and more people came to like "The Chase" as we continued our activities.
A. Eina: I felt proud that the response to our finely-tuned choreography, which we practiced a lot, was positive. We will show you many more wonderful performances in the future!
A. Iaan: Many people liked the 'magnesium deficiency part' (the part where I blink multiple times in verse two), which is one of the killing parts of "The Chase," so I thought it was worth all the hard work I put into creating a better stage. I will continue to create many killing parts, so please look forward to it!
Q. You will meet your fans with your first reality show starting Mar. 26; what should we look forward to?
A. Carmen: Please look forward to the chemistry among the members. I think our usual selves will be well captured, making it entertaining for the fans!
A. Yuhwa: You will see our natural selves. The comfortable moments when we are with close friends will be the highlight of this reality show.
A. Eina: The things that happen among us will be much more entertaining than you expect!
A. Iaan: It would be nice if you could look forward to the chemistry that the eight members will create together.
Q. You are preparing to release a new song following your debut; any spoilers about the comeback?
A. Jiwoo: If "The Chase" feels like the prologue of Hearts2Hearts, the next song will showcase an even more authentic side of us.
A. Stella: "The Chase" had a dreamlike and mysterious atmosphere, but I think the next song will capture our vibrant charm well.
A. Jueun: We plan to show another new side that is different from "The Chase." Please look forward to it!
A. Yeon: I believe it will be music that we can enjoy more together with our fans.
