'Golf queen' Park Se-ri shared her thoughts on public dating on 'Let's be on your side.'

On the 18th, Park Se-ri, a special guest on episode 10 of the U+ original entertainment show 'Let's be on your side 4,' garnered deep empathy from the MCs with her characteristic firm and refreshing straightforwardness.

During the broadcast, Park Se-ri and the four MCs discussed a viewer's concern about having a boyfriend who only cares about cost-effectiveness. According to the viewer, their boyfriend, a salaried employee at a major corporation with a high salary, always portrayed himself as excessively frugal and stingy on dates. It even came to light that he saved money on things he should spend on, nearly putting himself in dangerous situations, which shocked the recording set.

In response, Park Se-ri pointed out that the issue is not merely a habit of saving money but a lack of courtesy toward the person they love, and Han Hye-jin remarked, "They do not realize that time is the most valuable thing."

Additionally, when the MCs related to the viewer's story and asked, "What would it be like if your boyfriend hesitated when it was time to pay?" Park Se-ri shared, "I do not like it when my partner is uncomfortable with those things, so I usually pay first," and added, "I once contributed to help ease the burden when my boyfriend, an ordinary office worker, was preparing a gift for his parents." She further stated, "But I believe that nothing is guaranteed; I can do what I can, but there are times when I cannot."

On the other hand, Park Se-ri elicited gasps with her bold response regarding public dating, saying, "If I get a boyfriend, I will just hold hands while walking around."

When Park Na-rae introduced comforting dieting quotes from Park Se-ri, such as "You can eat a lot during holidays," and "Makgeolli is okay because it has probiotics," Han Hye-jin and Pung-ja actively agreed, saying, "That’s true," and "That’s the mindset I like!"

In this regard, when Pung-ja interpreted the quote "Eating alone is one portion" as "Eight bagels are also one portion," Park Se-ri firmly responded, "That does not mean I said to eat eight bagels!" eliciting laughter.
