Dr. Oh Eun-young criticized the husband of the 'married couple.'
On the 17th broadcast of MBC 'Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell' (hereafter referred to as Marriage Hell), the husband, who goes out every day, and his wife, who works 12 hours a day and is solely responsible for the household economy because of him, appeared.
The husband showed interest in public projects, weekend schools, and programs for the elderly. He expressed pride, stating, "I have many tasks assigned in the region. About 350 people live in the village, a substantial number of whom are elderly. I have done volunteer work for jjajangmyeon and carnations. I also contributed to the establishment of a library. I operate a weekend school as well."
Due to his community service, the husband's restaurant work was put on the back burner. He said, "I was unable to work for about two months due to illness, but before that, I used to wake up early to boil meat and take care of everything," and the wife revealed, "I wake up at 4:30 a.m. and just turn on the gas stove before leaving."
Oh Eun-young asked, "We usually refer to this as the main business. Can we say that the husband is currently doing his main job?" The husband confidently replied, "I think I am doing 80-90% of the restaurant work, within the scope of my influence."
The husband, who revealed that he had been a credit defaulter, disclosed that he purchased a new car for the weekend school. The wife expressed her disappointment, saying, "I wondered who bought a car in the neighborhood. I thought, 'Why is that car at our restaurant?' He said, 'This is my brother's car.'"
Oh Eun-young advised, "It seems it will become a 'pretty but sour' situation. You need to spend according to your income. No matter how good your intentions are, it's excessive. The number of customers in a restaurant primarily depends on the quality of the food. It's the wife's labor that earns the money. It will be over if the wife gets sick."
