Amid renewed debate among netizens over comedian Lee Soo-ji's parody video, the channel ultimately made the video private.
In June 2024, Lee published a video titled "Actress Anna's Rome Vlog, Daily Life, Reading, and Tool Progress" through the channel "Nekalcopani," which she created with colleagues. In the video, Lee transformed into actress Anna, capturing her experiences enjoying a trip to Rome in vlog format.
As Anna, Lee enjoyed a leisurely morning coffee after drinking a glass of water early in the morning and looking out the window, saying, "While having a cup of coffee in the morning, I think about what schedule to follow today, and how I want to spend the day and my mindset for the day. I start my day by meditating on various things related to acting." Along with this, the video continued, capturing her reading and washing her face.
However, the video was brought back into the spotlight late. Earlier, Lee had parodied the appearance of mothers from Daechi-dong engaged in sincere child education while riding, in her recent YouTube channel "Hot Issue Ji." However, it was pointed out that the video seemed to be made by referencing a riding video posted by actress Han Ga-in, and eventually, Han deleted the riding video amid an outpouring of negative comments.
In this situation, comments on Lee's past actress Anna vlog video included, "It seems to be in Lee Cheong-ah's tone," leading to speculation that Lee was indeed mocking Lee Cheong-ah.
On the other hand, some netizens responded with support, stating, "It's a sophisticated diction, but the actress tone that can't use sophisticated words is perfect," "Soo-ji is a genius of this era," and "It seems you've captured it so well."
As suspicions grew that Lee may have mocked both Han Ga-in and Lee Cheong-ah, the "Nekalcopani" team ultimately made the video private.
