The agency of actor Kim Soo-hyun has expressed its position and clarified the allegations made by the late Kim Sae-ron's family regarding the second content certificate disclosure and new suspicions.
On the 18th, the agency of Kim Soo-hyun, Gold Medalist, refuted the content of a press conference held the previous day by the legal representative of the late Kim Sae-ron's family, attorney Bujiseok of the law firm Buyu, regarding new allegations.
On that day, the agency stated, "Gold Medalist has never claimed damages from Kim Sae-ron for any reason," adding, "The second content certificate was merely a guide to a legal procedure, and it was only intended to communicate the willingness to discuss the method and schedule of repayment. The content of the second content certificate is meant to indicate not to discuss 'debt' issues with someone who lacks legal authority, but to communicate with the responsible attorney."
Additionally, in refuting the allegations from the YouTube channel "Garosero Institute" (hereinafter referred to as "Gaseyeon"), the agency said, "Gaseyeon claimed once again that Kim Soo-hyun dated Kim Sae-ron during their teenage years based on a photo posted on a social media account created by a fan of Kim Sae-ron on June 23, 2017. However, the person in the photo is not Kim Soo-hyun but someone else."
They continued, "Gaseyeon claimed that the outfit worn by the person in the photo is similar to a product that Kim Soo-hyun advertised in the past. However, the outfit in the photo and the outfit advertised by Kim Soo-hyun come from different brands."
Kim Soo-hyun's side stated, "Since the photo that appeared on the fan account became a topic of discussion, we believe there is no need for us to respond to baseless suspicions raised by a photo that doesn't even show the face. However, the family has made new claims based on this photo, stating that Kim Soo-hyun visited the apartment where Kim Sae-ron lived with her family often during her teenage years and that they secretly met when her family was not around."
Furthermore, it emphasized, "Kim Soo-hyun has never been to that place, referred to by Gaseyeon as 'right here in this elevator.' Gaseyeon went there, not Kim Soo-hyun."
In relation to this, on the afternoon of the 18th, "Gaseyeon" conducted a live broadcast, stating, "We have never published photos or videos without the consent of the bereaved family, that is unacceptable. Are you out of your mind?" They then re-released an exposure photo showing the back of a male presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun.
Representative Kim Se-eui said, "Are you going to say this isn't you? This is Kim Sae-ron's house. So today we will be releasing a video consented to by Kim Sae-ron's family," and proceeded to show a video. The released video contains footage of Kim Sae-ron with a low-frequency massage device on her back, alongside a male presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun saying, "Oh! Isn't that too much pressure?"
Kim Sae-ron responded, "Wow, this is amazing. Have you tried it? No, right? From what I can see, if you put this on the stomach, it'll hurt. It's like putting tape on a cat's back," and when the camera continued filming her, she said, "Am I being filmed? Again?" before the video ended. However, the video only captured the voice of the male presumed to be Kim Soo-hyun and did not reveal his face.
Representative Kim Se-eui stated, "I hope Kim Soo-hyun will reveal his position tomorrow, please. If you say it's not you, then there is a video in response to that. There is a video with your face in it. I really hope you could release your stance tomorrow. I will be waiting."
