The group UNIS's Alicia received passing marks on her first MC challenge.
On the 17th, Alicia appeared as a special MC on Arirang TV's 'Simply K-Pop,' which was live-streamed through the YouTube channel 'Koreanet.'
Alicia has taken on the role of special MC for the first time on a music broadcast through this 'Simply K-Pop.' From her first appearance, she engaged warmly with global fans while displaying fluent English skills. She showcased her lively charm as well as her excellent diction while skillfully leading the program.
That day’s broadcast was also a time that proved Alicia's potential as an MC. She smoothly introduced the grants artists and conducted interviews, demonstrating her fluent hosting skills. Additionally, she actively communicated with the audience on site and global K-pop fans online, fully showing her professional MC side.
Alicia showcased vibrant energy and exceptional hosting abilities during her first music broadcast. She will continue her role as a special MC on 'Simply K-Pop,' which airs on the afternoon of the 28th.
Alicia's group, UNIS, is continuing its journey as a super rookie this year, following last year's success. In January, UNIS was selected as the expected girl idol (rookie) to lead in 2025 at the '2025 Korea First Brand Awards.'
In February, the American music media Billboard selected UNIS as the 'K-pop Rookie of the Month,' and at the '1st D Awards,' they won two awards: the DREAMS SILVER LABEL and the DISCOVERY Discovery of the Year.
UNIS is set to release a new album in April and embark on full-scale activities in 2025. Having made a strong impression on K-pop fans with diverse concepts such as 'Superwoman' and 'Gen Z Princess,' there is great interest in what new image they will present with this new release.
