Singer Jo Jang-hyuk, known for his representative song "Addicted Love," has expressed his political stance under both the Moon Jae-in administration and the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.

On the 16th, Jo Jang-hyuk posted on his Facebook, "If the Constitutional Court dismisses the impeachment, there should be a provision for the resignation of lawmakers who initiated the impeachment..." Following the state of emergency on Dec. 3, he expressed opposition to the impeachment of President Yoon and raised allegations of election fraud.

On the 8th, he left a post titled "The principle of moral order." This day marked the release of President Yoon, who was indicted and detained on charges of being the 'leader of a rebellion,' after the court decided to cancel his detention.

Earlier, on the 6th, he mentioned "the law of large numbers" and supported allegations of election fraud raised primarily by the conservative camp regarding the election commission.

Previously, Jo Jang-hyuk had also expressed dissatisfaction with the government's response to COVID-19 during the Moon Jae-in administration. In February 2020, he criticized the government's COVID-19 response, saying, "The phrase 'people come first!' still echoes in my ears, but I guess it was just a campaign slogan. I feel a sense of dissatisfaction towards the country." The phrase "people come first" was a slogan raised by President Moon during his candidacy for the 18th presidential election in 2012.

Jo Jang-hyuk debuted in 1996 with his first studio album "Even if You Leave" and made a name for himself with several hit songs including "Addicted Love," "Love Is Over," "A Day More Painful Than Parting," "Love," and "Change." He currently serves as a professor at the Vocal K-Pop Contents Department at Osan University.
